what to get the boy that has everything.

As I sit here surfing the internet trying to find some gall-dern ball cap that my husband told me he wanted for his upcoming birthday, my mind cannot help but wander. That's not at all what I want to get him. I want to get him something better, something memorable, something unique, something I know he realllllly wants.

Hmmmmm, if I had no limits what would I get my husband for his upcommin 19th birthday???

1. A lifetime supply of cheese. Various cheeses actually, to be sent to our front door bi-weekly, until he dies.
2. A huge man cave. Equipted with a large TV that only plays ESPN and movie channels, every movie channel, and every movie he could think of, on demand. There would be video games and a large cozy dark colored sofa (so he can wipe his hands on it whenever he wants). There would be TWO end tables to hold all of the snacks that would be housed in a small pantry off to the side of the room. Said pantry would be stocked with almonds, cheese (duh), various red meats, and all the hot sauce a guy can handle. Oh and Arnold Palmer would be on tap. Best part, wives can only enter to sit and sunggle. No cleaning, organizing, or touching anything really.
3. A subscription to Esquire that actually shows up every month.
4. A moderate home in Denver with city views, small town feel, and moutian air...in which we all live, all of the time.
5. A driver.
6. A million billion dollars.
7. A stay at home wife (um me,duh) that always has the best meals on the table, the laundry done AND put away, and can travel with him to all of his assignments, just for support and adventure.
8. A trip overseas with no itinerary, no agenda, no frills
9. A son with my eyes and his lips.
10. A day to be me, so he can actually feel the way I feel about him. (Although I am not sure he could handle the intensity.)

THESE are the things I daydream about getting and doing for my husband this birthday, but if he wants the baseball hat, then I suppose that's what I better get. It is HIS birthday afterall. :-)
