if you are lucky, you have a favorite friend who is also a momma that you can call anytime to ask questions, compare notes, or just vent your wildest thoughts to without judgement.
if you are really lucky, you have a favorite friend who is also a momma that happens to be pregnant the same time as you, only a few months ahead. ah-mazing. so, you can call her and see if her lady parts have tripled in size overnight, or if she too may have "accidentally" reprimanded someone else's child in the mcdonalds playland for bothering her own sweet little who was just minding their own business, or maybe if she at that very same moment would be willing to take a punch, just to have a dilly bar magically show up in hand. (p.s. if she's really your best friend, like mine, the answer to all of these will magically be yes.)
and if you are really, really lucky, your favorite friend will drive all the way from new mexico to let you bump bellies, and celebrate her, along with the blessed little factoid that you are both having beautiful little girls who are destined to be besties too.
