here is a little recap from the good ol' daddy of 'em all...
please note: momma is large and overheats easily, so 2011 festivities were kept to a minimum. But don't feel too bad for the little buckaroo, he was able to find some other family members to show him a rootin tootin wild time at many other of the events throughout the week. hooray.
we watched for thunderbirds...
but after 15 minutes of waiting someone started whining it was
"toooo hottt" and "toooo bright"
no, it was not me.
which resulted in watching from the nice, cool, air conditioned car, and a few silly close up photos.
we then saddled up to go watch slack.
best seats in the house for the "early mornin' rodeo" as we called it.
and before we knew it, the party was over.
but beware cfd, next year we're comin' out to make up for lost time.
