Anyone who knows me, knows that I live for a children's inspired theme. I mean DUH, I did make a career of it. Sooo when Dash Man told me that it was "Bear Week" at school, I was all over it. We, yes WE, brainstormed what he could take to share everyday next week. I LOVE that Dash is finally old enough, and invested in school enough, to participate and add his own brilliant ideas. BEST.
For one day he wanted to take gummy bears and wear his grateful dead bear shirt. Genius. Another day he decided to take his Polar Bear, Polar Bear book and matching stuffed polar bear AND bring in the cutest little bear cupcakes we found online.
ch-ch-ch-check 'em out.

And Dash had the great idea for the last day we go pick out a new bear book at the book store. I'm game for any shopping, especially when its for a book. So we went, we saw, we conquered. Dash choose the New York Times Bestseller, Bears in Underwear. Ok not a bestseller, but you'd never know by the way he tells it! Along with this classy tale he wanted to take Teddy Grahams to share.
Ah Teddy Grahams!!! Reminds me of one of my favorite Dash-isms...
A few months ago I was up rushing around for work and Dash was sitting on the sofa with his orange juice and a little bowl of teddy grahams. Not just any Teddy Grahams, the mini Teddy Grahams, which are so much cooler. He gobbled down the snack and as I'm in my bedroom dressing I hear his shout to me, "hey momma, can I get some more titties?" Ummmmm, huh? "Mom, I need some titties." Naturally I am in my room giggling like a total bozo, but his little voice shouting tittie was just too much. Finally I collect myself and walk out with my best, innocent, straight faced, "what???" He says with his pudgy little pointer finger wagging at the bowl, "TITTIES mom! You know they are littler Teddy Grahams, so they are called titties...Titties."
Well of course they are.
