how old are you? thaaaat's right.

Lately I have found myself beyond impressed with Dash and the little person he is becoming before my eyes. Ok prepare to gag, but really, he is so smart. I ask him, "How do you spell your name?" He says, "D-A-S-H. And your name is spelled M-O-M." Brilliant. When I ask him to put something here or toss something there, he actually does it. He snuggles up with me on the sofa every single night for books and a show. And when I tell him every night on that sofa that it is my most favorite part of the day, and he says "me too." Ahhh, I melt. The other day he got in the car, by himself and settled in to the passenger seat (wishful thinking on his part) and reached forward to turn the seat warmers on, saying "eesch, cold in here, gotta flip on my bun warmer!" Today he went out front after putting on his own boots, coat and hat  and that sweet little boy shoveled the entire deck and driveway by. him. self. No joke! Its so exciting to simply see him, just being him. When he finished up, he came in and got ready for a bath, where we talked about our amazing day together. He told a few jokes and broke out beat box mode a couple times. Then I really just looked at him and sentimentally thought, gaaa where is my baby going? And in that very next moment...he pooped in the tub. Sick. Guess he still has a little more growing up to do.
