Every once in a blue moon this momma has a night out. Last night was my ol' friend Heather's bachelorette party and there was no way I was going to miss her last night out on the town. Heather and I met in 2000 when she joined Kappa Kappa Gamma. It was love at first sight. Heather has been an amazing friend to me, and honestly I just try to keep up. She is one of the bravest, most adventurous, loyal friends a girl can have. I admire all of these things about her, but above all else, I envy Heather's ability to always "come from a place of yes." She is always there when you need her and always up for anything.

We hit up The Rio for a late cinco de mayo bite and beverage. Oh, and PS, they DO NOT make shirley temples?!? I know, WHA WHATTT? Lame. I had to post this photo because I am laughing my ass off at God knows what, which is how I spent a majority of the evening. It was such a good time. As I sat there with my college sistas I couldn't help but remember how much fun we had. College really was amazing and I cannot even begin to share the memories we made. I love this Linda in life where I am, but man-o-man college Linda was such a good time. I'll admit, last night I missed her just a little.

Heather and I have shared so many moments together; good, bad, and ugly. She was a good sport when I tricked her into getting dolled up in formal wear for the "football formal" aka a dance that DID NOT exist. Oh and the time I thought it would be fun to make a trail from the front door to our room with her underpants, even wrapping the around the round light fixtures (that was a good one). She held my hand (and hair) as I fought and lost miserably against a mean case of food poisoning. Heather even slept on the floor with me in my old apartment the night I packed up and literally pulled off a midnight move to escape an icky boyfriend. Heather cheered me on during the Miss Wyoming Pageant and always makes me laugh with her quick wit and snarky observations.
I know Heather  will have the biggest, brightest, most fulfilling future, simply because she would never allow any less. That hubby of hers better know what a catch she is, and that he is one lucky SOB.
Congrats friend! I love you always!
