welp it happened.
our number was drawn, and it was our turn.
no. not jury duty. (thank god.)
it's dash's turn to do snack at preschool.
sure, we could run to the supermarket,
grab some juice boxes and applesauce.
but really, that's just not my style.
i mean, it's no secret.
i lllliiiivvvee for such occasions as this.
and, with it being the winter season,
we opted for a winter themed snack.
mmmmmmm.
we first decided to make some doughnut snowmen.
i did the eyes and mouth, while dash took care of the noses.
to the untrained eye, carrots & ranch. blech.
to us, snowman noses dipped in fresh snow. all of the sudden. tasty.
and what is a party without a favor?
to send home, we made these little treasures.
"mixed up snowman bags".
(we used candy corn for the nose, mini chocolate chips for eyes and mouth, pretzel sticks for arms, marshmallows for snowballs, mini oreo for the hat, and a piece of fruit leather for a scarf.)
