i know i think dash is pure perfection. and i know i am his mother, so duh, it seems sort of par for the course. but this little man is hilarious. seriously. and its not just like every once in a while he has a good one-liner (although that does happen), he is genuinely funny everyday. much much much wittier than your average four year old. and as he gets older, his humor gets more and more refined. i always say that i am going to start writing his silly zingers down, but because they are so natural and such a part of him, they come quick and are soon followed by the next good one.
however.
his "boy" jokes are always funny to me. inappropriate, mmmmm, ok, yes. but soooooo dern funny.
and the most recent example just had to be documented and shared...
enjoy.
aaron and i were talking back and forth from the living room to the kitchen about what to call noa's, er, girl parts (don't ask what lead to that, you know these conversations are just weird and happen, ha ha). anywho. aaron says i don't know, wink-ess? i say no. that is what dash calls his. now during this banter, dash is silent playing batman guys by himself, seemingly not paying any attention. ha ha, yea right. he randomly chimes in, we can call her wink-ess and mine....SYCAMORE.
bahahahhahaha. i almost died. i mean, really he just thinks the word sycamore is funny, and of course he didn't really get how funny his joke was, but seriously, talk about a double entendre. of course we both quickly turned in some weak attempt to not let him see us both laughing our a**es off.
and then he casually adds, ya guys, you know... a sycamore and acorns.
oh. my. god.
i mean really. does a random saturday conversation get any goofier than that?
ha ha ha.
