This is how I roll.

Today I bought a new car. Yes, you read that right, a brand new car. It is so exciting for a not-so-wealthy gal like myself to go in, speak my peace, and drive off in a brand new 2011 Volkswagon, without paying a penny.
You're probably wondering what my secret is. No, I am not sleeping with anyone who works at Ed Carroll motor company, ha ha. It is, my friends, the beauty of a lease. Some people hate the idea, I for one LOVE it. This is my third VW leased car and I could not be happier. I find that with how much change has come and gone in life these past few years, the lease is perfect. I have been fortunate enough to pick out a brand new car every three years by paying nothing (not even for maintence, yes that includes oil changes too), but the monthly payment that I have negotiated. It has allowed me to upgrade and downgrade as life has deemed necessary. And, in no other situation would I be able to dart around town in something so fresh and so clean clean. I understand how some would see it as I have nothing to show for the thousands I have sent in to VW credit all these years...valid point. However, I try very hard to live in the moment and enjoy the day I have. And today is no exception as I settle in, check my mirrors, open the sun roof, turn up my touch screen XM radio, and take in that new car scent!!! Life is so so good. :-)
