noa magnolia is seven months old.
and in month seven of sweet baby noa bliss i have experienced...
SEVEN months seems to be the age where noa refines and displays her "show-off" milestones. you know, clapping, saying da-da, giggling at jokes, sitting, etc. it is the BEST!
SEVEN times two (fourteen) lbs to go to pre pregnancy weight. i can do, damn it.
SEVEN times a day i pump milk to ensure this non-latching little button remains exclusively breast fed for at least one year.
SEVEN days a week i now get to spend with my babies! thanks summer vaca! woot!
SEVEN pm is last call for...anything 'round here. bed time for babies. 7pm you two, i mean it! ga.
SEVEN months came so fast. oh wait. i posted six months way late. oopsy daisy. :-)
noa, noa, noa. i usually get all mushy here, but today i really can't. you are too bouncy, happy, excited, and just plain great to get sappy in this moment. i love, love, love that you laugh and smile at your brother...no matter what. he really is the best big brother in the world, and you little miss, must be a genius for already knowing so. your refusal to just smile and love on any ole joe-schmo, can at times be awkward and really makes for some uncomfortable grocery store run-ins. but i don't care. i really appreciate you for loving what you love and keeping those smiles and giggles genuine. it makes them that much more special. (all that being said, maaayyybe we could just work on a courtesy smirk for non preferred moments?? maybe?) you are a funny, spicy, quirky, little button and i couldn't love you more. you be you. and i'll be proud. deal? deal.
xo.
