We have been having the best spring break.
first we found an egg. not just any egg, a dinosaur egg. the paper with the special dinosaur egg told us to carefully put it in a glass of water and wait...and wait...and wait "for daaaayssss" (as Dash explains, as if the word is actualy centuries, ha). so we did it. and we are stillllll waiting :-)
We made the CUTEST cupcakes for a monkey themed babyshower. I was beyond impressed by what a little baker Dashy D has become. He measured, poured, sitrred, and decorated in such a way that would have brought a tear to martha stewart's critical eye. Ahhh-maz-ing.
He was having so much fun! In this photo his is laughing so hard, I would kill to be able to add the audio.... BEST.

We have been painting, dancing, dressing up
and playing moon dough like nobody's business.

After Dash asked me for a barrette (when we were working on writing his name, and he could not see, oopsy), I realized it was probably time for a hair cut. He was the BEST. He told the lady he likes to dress up like superman. When she asked if he had a web shooter, he made a frownie face and told her, "I don't. I just pretend. It is just as good to pretend and it is less expensive." I almost died. He is a dream :-). The fools were out of lollipops, which of course I had been promising since before we even left to go there, SOOOOO we stopped at the treat store and Dash choose some delicious gummy frogs. He told me they were "WAYYYYYYY, SO MUCH, WAYYYYY better than the lollipops anyway." phewwwff...forgiven. He enjoyed the gummy frogs by not only eating them, but also by acting like a frog, lining them up for a game of leap frog and naming them...all while seeing them clearly (sans hair in the eyes). SUCCESS.
We have had play dates, movie dates, and shared the best jokes....and its only Wednesday! Cannot wait to see what the rest of the week brings us...
