half-help

I realized today that I have a brand new pet peeve. Don't get me wrong, its always annoyed me, but now with life so busy, it honestly sends me over the edge. 
I cannot stand "half help"!!!! 
If you don't know, half help is when someone appears to make an effort to "help" but does it only half way causing you more work (or at least the same amount) that you would have had just doing it yourself. Now, don't confuse half help, with doing this half-assed. I believe half-assed work is just lazy and rude. I think half help has good intentions behind it, but its just not complete, or right, or well...DONE.
For example, someone in your house empties the dishwasher, and puts the cookie sheets in a random cupboard rather than asking (or looking for) where it really goes. Or, when the laundry is "done" but you can't find any clean underpants for your child...oopsy because they are not with all the underpants, they are all still sitting in the dryer a week later. Maybe a friend or co-worker says they will cover a meeting for you while you run to that appointment and you come back to find that yes that person attended, but no notes, no attendence sheet, there is nothing. All of these always feel, to me, like a swift kick in the nards. You think life has skipped the lemon and handed you a nice, cool, glass of fresh lemonade, but nooooooope, you realize not only do you have to do the initial job, but you sort of have to RE-DO what has been done. 
So to anyone who knows me, do not get me wrong, I LOVE and appreciate any and all help, but I gotta be honest and say the "half-help"...you can save for someone else!
